Wait. I thought AIPAC said they don't get involved in elections?
I distinctly recall that being cited as one of the reasons Ilhan Omar doesn't know what she's talking about: that AIPAC isn't a presence in U.S. elections.
It's almost like Omar had a reasonable point and we're being gaslit.

1) Omar's word choice recalls harmful stereotypes and she should listen to the Jewish community to understand why.
2) Omar's point has merit — the GOP (many of whom aren't Jewish) have broken norms & civil liberties to squash criticism of Israel.
