I haven't used Radare2 much because I find it dauntingly hard to use, but isn't it free and in the same calibre as Ghidra? 
From you can see in my timeline, I went from my first tweets complaining about installing Java to showing major features of Ghidra in less than a hour. I don't know about functionality, but it's far easier to use than Radare2. It seems more feature rich than Hopper.
I mean, no, it's not "easy to use" in that you'll pick it up like a word processor. You sorta gotta understand reverse engineering first, which is a lot of work.
