Are we back to misleading reporting again? Cutting tariffs means lower prices? We've enjoyed tariff free access to the members goods and benefited from 70 FTA's through the EU; are we slashing tariffs, and regulations, to accommodate the US for short term gain but long term pain?
The Tufton massive haven't been idle........
And neither have fellow Atlas Network members.......paid for lobbyists masquerading as charities and duplicitous politicians in the pockets of American agribusinesses....welcome to dystopian Brexit Britain....for the few not the many!

We've said it time and time again, twitter is a brilliant communication tool which can be used to provide effective oversight of our elected officials - or, as in this case, it can be used to highlight how removed from reality the Prime Minister's Brexit position really is.
@AnnaMcMorrin puts @theresa_may on the spot over Leave's illegal activities that are being investigated by the @metpoliceuk and the @NCA_UK and May provides a Freudian response, "this parliament gave the people the decision" - didn't it just Theresa, didn't it just!
Perhaps once away from the cut and thrust of the chamber @theresa_may would do well to consider what @AnnaMcMorrin has asked her because what were once whispers of corruption surrounding the 2016 referendum result are now becoming an international roar...and there's more to come.

You have to applaud their ingenuity; in a competition where the biggest liar wins, in order to persuade voters to back Brexit, unscrupulous politicians would present Brexit as having all the benefits of EU membership when it has none!!! And sadly, enough people fell for it!!!!

@PaulConnew @MrHarryCole Good. Right so under normal WTO/GATT rules a member country can't just say ... oh Bangladesh is poor, so we'll let them off the hook, because its against the rules.

So that's why GSP was suggested by UNCTAD. It allowed a general exception for developing countries ...
@PaulConnew @MrHarryCole By general it means that the favours shown to a developing country must apply fairly to other developing countries in the same development bracket. However each developed nation is allowed some flexibility in how the GSP is designed.

Now the next bit is VERY important.
@PaulConnew @MrHarryCole So now we have to go back to the beginning, and the founding of the EEC and the Treaty of Rome in 1957.

In the original Treatythe colonies of the founding 6 nations were granted associated membership of the EEC with tariff, free quota free access EU markets.

Free-To-Air (FTA) channels Vs #PayTV subscription.
Pay TV operator have argued that their business model is "Subscription". That when a customer opt for Pay TV, their primary interest is in the premium Pay TV content and not to watch the Free To Air channels.

During the stakeholder consultations as part of the New broadcasting licensing development, many commentators were for #PayTV providers offering Free-To-Air channels free to subscribers even after monthly subscription have run out. The reason being, they are Free so why pay?
Just like many #PayTV providers globally have also refused to allow customers to pay per channel. Customers are not allowed to customise channels they want to watch for one simple reason, many channels whether it is Discovery Channel or C-SPAN may not be viable on their own.
