Dec'2012, Boston US: 2 informed Spaniards, 3 of us Indians sat discussing about India's need for Modi, while the country unearthed scams after scams. The nation was desperate for an incorruptible PM. Hence, Narendra Modi!

PMJDY: Has gone on to become the largest financial inclusion scheme in the world with over 34 crore account holders. As off February 2019, it had mopped up 90000 crores.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: Opposition raised a stink when Modi ji, talked Swachhta from Red fort ramparts. With 92% & counting rural sanitation coverage under this scheme, India is set to be OD Free, a malpractice that was unacknowledged for 60 years.

Name change by invader is a way of severing ties with heritage/ancestry. Which in turn leads to isolation of communities. Over generations these isolated communities accept Invaders as their own. #Prayagraj

Over the last week or so, enough words have been thrown by "interested" opposition on the rising crude oil prices and why the government is a failure consequently. After listening to a lot of bilge on this, here's my humble attempt to provide clarity. Do read: 1/n
1. We have always had a huge appetite for oil consumption. Of the total oil requirement of the country, about 70%-80% is imported! (graph source: prsindia.org/theprsblog/?ta…) 2/n
2. Of our Total import bill the maximum amount of our oil is imported from Middle-East, the leading nation among that being Saudi Arabia! Most of this import bill from Middle-East is paid in $, hence the rupee's link to oil price. (graph source: pgjonline.com/magazine/2015/…) 3/n

The IAF has not made any demand for it. HAL CMD R Madhavan recently said HAL no longer waits for IAF’s requirements. "We're confident of doing R&D and offering a product. We're even looking at markets outside,” he said.
