Meanwhile @exxonmobil , the climate activists bete-noir, continue to support existing- even expanded - methane regulation, albeit because they seem to want gas to have a clean reputation forbes.com/sites/edfenerg…
BP are buying companies that are e.g. electric vehicle charge point installers, and actually have relatively good record on low carbon investment (though plenty is bioenergy, likely dodgy from climate pov)

What doesn't emerge is a coherent pull in any particular direction
