Someone once asked me why I did conference talks. It was a day after my first training, on/after which I was super tired, so all I could imagine for an answer would be simply "sharing knowledge" and getting more recognition in the community (which was a suggested answer). 1/5
After some time and giving a few more talks, I actually have an answer that I'd give with a clear conscience. I'm not giving talks about things I'm not excited about, so when I go on stage to share some knowledge it's always about something I personally like and think is cool
so I get to share my passion about these things with others, and hopefully provoke them to try these things at home or at work. I'm excited about the possibility that some of them actually do that and get the same joy I get when using the things.
I love programming and every time I learn something cool I rediscover why it's so exciting and so much fun.

I share my knowledge so that I can help somebody rediscover their love for programming too, and in the future maybe help them in their career.
Also, I try to give back to the community that gave me so much free knowledge and tools... by spreading the news about cool things and giving some more knowledge that may or may not be already online.
Huge thanks to everyone who listens to these talks, and to everyone who helped me get to the point where I get accepted to some conferences and can talk about my passion with other people 😍
