First off, Google Ads and Facebook Ads work in similar ways.
With one BIG exception:
Google Ads PPC (Pay-Per-Click) Campaigns operate as a bidding service.
The clear objective being to connect potential customers to businesses in the most relevant and cost effective way.

Let's talk about bidding for a moment.
The goal is the same as Facebook - to delivery the best user experience using relevant data such as the ad's relevancy, CTR (click-through-rate), bounce rate, and conversions all factor in.

The benefit of Google Ads is that it allows you to reach your potential customers easily, since they're ALREADY searching for your products/services.
Ex.) If you're selling Red Balloons, instead of targeting audiences on FB, you can target folks searching for "Red Balloons".

You'll notice that the CTR is VERY high compared to Facebook Ads.
This is because, naturally, folks will click on ads relating to the product that they're ALREADY searching for.
This, in return, allows for much cheaper clicks.

It's important to highlight one more thing:
Google ONLY charges you once users click on your ads.
This is different from Facebook, who'll gladly take your money regardless if anyone clicks on your ads.
You have more control.

With Manual CPC, you can set your keyword bids directly.
This means that you don't have to pay more per click than you're comfortable paying ($1 CPC).

Google Ads is great for specific products/services which customers are already searching for.
In particular, if your product has a high profit margin.
