A federal judge in Virginia has dismissed the latest lawsuit seeking to hold the Trump campaign liable for the DNC hack. The judge left open the Q of whether the release of emails is protected by the 1A, but found other legal deficiencies with the claims assets.documentcloud.org/documents/5771…

Re: the state law claims, the judge found that there was no cause of action in Virginia for disclosing private info, and the infliction of emotion distress claim fell short of the standard for that claim given the alleged facts
The judge concludes: " Finally, while this Court finds Plaintiffs' Amended Complaint fails to plead plausible and legally viable claims as crafted, it offers no assessment of the veracity of the factual assertions underlying Plaintiffs' claims."
