As the author, my take is, in my opinion, not half-bad.

People exercising personal moral judgment about the societal value of a TV host calling Iraqis “illiterate monkeys” and defending statutory rape IS the speech police.

Using a national newspaper to frame them as Orwellian aparatchiks engaged in smears is NOT the speech police.
1st Amendment is clear: If you are Tucker Carlson, you can say whatever you want about sex with real teenaged girls w/o endangering your right to be on national TV—that’s free speech.

Criticizing Tucker Carlson for defending child rape is NOT free speech. That’s what STALIN did.
Free speech is presumed to apply powerful privileged people no matter what they say, but not to apply to any reaction people might have to such speech.

It’s such an obvious ruse and they keep running it, because it works.

It works because so many agree with that assumption.

So let's start with the land we all live on in the Western Hemisphere. There aren't any perfect indigenous words to use. Turtle Island has been proposed as a term many First Nations in "North America" feel comfortable with for their continent, as it ties into their beliefs. 2/
The Anahuacah (also Nahuatlacah or "Aztecs") thought of the world as being surrounded by a great cosmic sea. They called that contiguous land mass "Cemanahuac" (sem ah NAH wahk), literally "all [the land] beside the waters." Some folk suggest it as a term for the "Americas." 3/

Now here's a really neat thing on local CraigsList: An Imsai 8080 from 1974!
In pretty good shape, other than some dust inside.
It comes with one or two extra things, like basically all the manuals and a bunch of software on paper tape!
It's got some kind of controller, a tape drive, 8" disks & drive.
