You have a Government that has misled Parliament and is setting fire to our country in the process. It said it WOULD seek a long extension if the WA ot passed.

And you WANT the Tory whip?

2/. Here is Lidington spelling out not only that the gov would seek a long extension if the WA was not passed prior to the EU Council, but that a short extension would be contrary to the resolution passed by the house the night before as it would INCREASE the risk of NO Deal

Today MPs have to look themselves in the mirror and ask themselves what kind of people they are. Honourable or dishonourable. If the former they have to fight with all their might to direct the Gov to deliver on its promise.

5/. This IS about Parliamentary democracy.

This IS about the Sovereignty of Parliament.

This IS about our standing in the world and a fight for our integrity as a nation.

I am utterly utterly ashamed of our Government.

Don’t make us ashamed of our Parliament.
