In light of current events, everyone take a deep breath- unless you're in the Houston area, y'all wait a while.

We've been waiting to exhale for more than 2 years, we can make it a little longer. As information unfolds, I hope everyone will pause and reflect before reacting. 1/

Read what others are saying, I suggest a spattering of sanity from a few Democrats not running for POTUS. @fawfulfan @docrocktex26 @Teri_Kanefield @tedlieu of course there are many others. Let others know who provides useful commentary that can be used in productive ways. 2/

My point is don't become part of the hum that accompanies the chaos Trump hopes will drowned out his incompetence, dishonesty, disdain for the law when it applies to him, and the threat these inadequacies and flaws pose to the people of the United States.

Do *not* play into popular Republican/Trump talking points that Democrat are crazy & violent. The Mueller investigation is over, but the findings pass evidence to state prosecutors. Congress will continue to investigate based on information revealed through previous testimony. 4/

Remember- we win when we channel our anger into positive action. We are not the party of negative offense. We are the party of positive offense. Democrats may not sit on the same page, but we are in the same book. We're a party of facts. Make sure you are reacting to fact. 5/

There will be tons of misinformation flying around. Keep you response simple. "That is a lie." As tempting as it is, don't waste your time responding any other way. I'd love to see 100's of responses to misinformation be identical. "That is a lie." 6/

Don't use your valuable time arguing w/people *who do not hear you*. Just paste "That is a lie." & move on. Remember what you said about Mueller in the beginning. If you felt good about his appointment as special counsel, accept his result and continue working towards 2020. 7/

We have to engage non-voters, reach 18+, fight #VoterSuppression & demand #HandMarkedPaperBallots
Primaries are coming- lots of candidates. We have to vote responsibly. We have to support the nominee. We have to win. 4 more years could lead to an additional 8 of Pence. Nono! 8/

Route emotions accordingly, we can't afford the luxury of fits, gloating, or arguing in circles. We're taking America back from those whose priority is $$. Work within the confines of the Constitution.

With each exhale, remember our motto: e pluribus unum- From many, one.
