Wow. This is embarrassing (and sad). This NR symposium published in Feb. 2016 is a who's who of "conservatives" who once paid lip-service to our principles and then abandoned them to kiss Trump's ring.

Let's go through some of the highlights...
nationalreview.com/2016/01/donald…
.@GlennBeck: "When conservatives desperately needed allies in the fight against big government, Trump didn’t stand on the sidelines. He consistently advocated that your money be spent, that your government grow, and that your Constitution be ignored." nationalreview.com/2016/01/donald…
.@DLoesch: "Just a few years ago, I was receiving threats for promoting conservative policies and conservative principles — neither of which Donald Trump seems to care about. Yet he’s leading.

Popularity over principle — is this the new Right?" nationalreview.com/2016/01/donald…
.@AndrewCMcCarthy: "Donald Trump does not have a clue about [foreign policy], careening wildly from vows to stay out of the fray (leaving it in Vladimir Putin’s nefarious hands) to promises that the earth will be indiscriminately scorched." nationalreview.com/2016/01/donald…
.@KatiePavlich: "America cannot afford to elect a man who is not rooted in conservatism. And Donald Trump, a political con man who sympathizes with hit man Vladimir Putin and 'Republicans' such as Charlie Crist, manifestly is not." nationalreview.com/2016/01/donald…
.@BrentBozell: "Trump might be the greatest charlatan of them all." nationalreview.com/2016/01/donald…
It's worth noting not every contributor jumped ship. Some have remained true to their ideals even at great costs to their careers. They chose conservatism over clicks. Good for them. #PrinciplesFirst
