At PapaD's hurried arrest at Dulles, he alleges the FBI agents who interviewed him said he was arrested because he "works for Trump" and "with Russians"
PapaD's path to Trump:

–Nov/Dec 2015: Nagi Idris asks him to join LCILP (where Mifusd also works)

After telling LCILP colleagues he's leaving to work for Trump, their attitude towards him immediately changes. Anger: then, they want him to meet Mifsud in Rome - via Arvinder Sambei (who appears to have represented the FBI in an English court in 2001): telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews…
One of the first people @GeorgePapa19 meets in Rome is Vincenzo Scotti - who ran the Italian interior ministry from 1990-1992 (including SISDE, the then Italian intelligence agency)
FYI: On Oct 8 2016 Scotti later travels to Moscow with Mifusd to sign an agreement between LINK campus and a Moscow university: ilfoglio.it/cronache/2018/…
After being introduced to Mifsud by Idris, almost the first thing Mifsud asks is if PapaD has any "Russian contacts"? **Mifsud** then introduces the idea of a meeting between Putin and Trump (too long an extract, so buy the book for that)
PapaD then meets with Mifsud & "Putin's niece". Via an email later, PapaD lies to the Trump campaign about meeting the Russian Ambassador with Mifusd. Sam Clovis replies: "no commitments" as the campaign is "not going to advance anything with Russia" until allies are on board
The Mueller investigation only partly quoted that email from Sam Clovis in the PapaD "Statement of the Offense" filed in court, cutting out the words "we are not going to advance anything with Russia" and the part about reassuring allies. Very misleading? You be the judge 🚨
PapaD's first interaction with @carterwpage is Page telling him over Skype on April 5 2016 to be "VERY CAREFUL ABOUT TALKING ABOUT RUSSIA" and don't be too confident about trying to get a Putin meeting set up. Since Page was under a FISA, did the FBI disclose this to the FISC? 🚨
