As cowardly as the Tories are, and they've all gone tortoise again, I'm still saying Theresa May is going to resign.

We've got until April 12th to choose between three things, all of which mean Theresa May's resignation.
By April 12th we have to tell Europe whether we're doing European elections, which will also mean a long Brexit extension of a year or more.

If we don't ask for a long extension, then in two weeks we leave with no agreement.

For reasons we all know by now, there is no chance of us leaving Europe with no agreement. A "WTO" Brexit as some nutters call it.

I think this idea of a no deal Brexit separates the adults from what are essentially overgrown children.
It's the kind of libertarian thinking that if you abolish your laws somehow you'll suddenly be free and pure. A kind of Tory Kulturkampf that no one is going to adopt.

Yes, a few bobbleheads like Iain Dunkin-Donut want it, but the country doesn't, so the no dealers are nothing more than political masturbation.

So with no use of a short extension, and no possibility of leaving with no deal, we are obviously going to ask for a long extension. Long as in a year.

It looks like you're going to get the second referendum you wanted, so that's nice.
A referendum to overturn Theresa May's fiasco. Stands to reason she can't be involved in that.

That's why I expect Theresa May's resignation today.
And on Monday MPs are going to take another vote on the next steps, which I am pretty sure will involve another referendum.

But like I started saying three years ago, if the Tories don't sack Theresa May and abandon Brexit, they will end up with Scottish independence and a much diminished England falling into bitter recrimination.
