1. This is a more serious and informed critique of Bernie Sanders than one usually sees and echoes concerns I've since 2016.
2. In 2016 my big concern with Sanders was I thought he was running a protest campaign & wasn't really focused on winning the nomination (as opposed to pushing the party left). This could be seen most clearly in fact he didn't go as negative on Clinton as he could have.
3. This time, I do think Sanders is serious about winning, as witness in some of his campaign hires. The cussedness that @ryangrim identified is both a strength & a weakness: its the source of Sanders appeal but also sabotages him on occasion.
