Hello marketing people. In fact if you have emailed me for a product that you should be emailing somebody else (or no one) at our company for and I haven’t gotten back by all means take the hint/do your job and read a masthead.
It is amazing that great journalists keep losing their jobs but somehow PR people really bad at their jobs/pushing dumb products still have theirs.
Also it is in fact not my job to tell you who at my company you should reach out to. 5 min of due diligence would help you better ascertain that.

NPR really worked hard not to call Stephen Miller a white nationalist just now.
And @NPRinskeep just said that “both sides” are appealing to their most extreme base on immigration and he and @MaraLiasson provided no example of this on the Dems/left, because there isn’t one.
Trump and Miller aren’t just “playing” to the extreme base on immigration and race. They share those beliefs and have been quite open about it all their lives.

2/ I divided the Narrative Watch into two sections - Crypto Winter and Invincible Summer.

There was no way that the ICO Reckoning (aka the ICO-Told-Ya-So) wasn’t going to be right at the beginning of the winter list.
3/ The important point of this narrative is that *it will not be quiet.* It’s highly likely that many projects and people who would rather fade into obscurity will be dragged back - whether by regulators, or civil suits from investors, or by social media’s memory hole.

I have spent many, many hours on the @davidludwigmd study, probably digging deeper into some aspects of the raw data more than almost anyone. It is a interesting study to think about, and I am hooked on it.

I also think that I have discovered at least one problem. 1/16
In their article, Dr. Ludwig and colleagues report that subjects who lost "12% (within 2%)" of their weight were randomized to a low-carb, moderate-carb, or high-carb group. This seems to be incorrect. 39% of the people randomized seem not to have met the 12+-2% target. 2/16
I also could not find anywhere in the study that stated that this target was not met when subjects were randomized, even though they were so randomized. 3/16

/1 Yes courts were never going to save us. Thats what I would have tweeted til 4pm today. Then, the question became totally diff one. How far can a radically right court set us back? What can they take that we cant win back in an election? Or 2 or 3?
/2 I’m in the middle of a piece abt how free speech is being used to make UNCONST all kinds of democratically chosen regs. Not just campaign finance law. Laws that restrict marketing of drugs - and tobacco - are already being taken apart. That is poised to get so much worse.
/3 and takings law - where cts say ‘Thats property, the gov cant take it without paying ‘. We already have horrible cases - eg Maine ct said public disclosure of whats in a cig is “taking” tobacco company trade secrets. Could get so much worse. All kinds of regs now “takings”.

#Fact 1 - The Wage Gap is real. People who says it's not haven't read the data.

However, in places like the USA, the wage gap is *not* mostly due to sexism like many #femnist #WomenInScience are claiming it is today. Disparate outcomes doesn't imply disparate treatment.
Women typically choose fields that are lower paying; even in the #STEM fields. To attribute that to sexism only or even mostly is a very dishonest way of deriving an answer for this complex disparity.

When the US Department of Labor Statistics took into consideration personal choices, non-wage benefits, hours worked, experience, education, and other variables that contributes to the wage gap the percentage of earnings decreases to approximately 3%.
