Democrats are right that America needs a change from Obamacare. They are wrong that doubling down on its worst mistakes will make our country stronger.
In 2010, President Obama promised Americans that they could keep their plans, keep their doctors, and expect to see large savings in premiums.

None of it was true. Nearly 5 million Americans were told their plans would be canceled. Individual market premiums more than doubled.
“Medicare for All” is what Democrats call their new plan. Unlike Obamacare, it doesn't pretend to give you options or choice in your healthcare. It is a proposal to end private insurance entirely and force nearly 180 million Americans onto government-run plans.
It's not shocking a self-described socialist would introduce this bill. What is stunning is how many Congressional Democrats are rallying behind this $32 trillion vision—one that puts its far-left base first and the middle class second.
No law that kicks 180 million Americans off their plans is acceptable. While Democrats abandon Obamacare for more socialism, President Trump is working on real solutions to provide Americans with the options, affordability, and quality care they deserve.
