No. You're kidding. Bret Easton Ellis, the guy who made an entire career out of fetishizing white privilege, thinks we shouldn't worry about the literal embodiment of white privilege.

Get right out of town.
This interview is just...man. Easton Ellis has always shown a narcissistic tendency toward worrying about himself and forgetting everybody else, but this interview is just a textbook case of a self-obsessed American.
Like, you can literally feel his boredom coming off the screen whenever the conversation changes to something besides himself or other people. It’s so unbelievably gross.
This is a guy being interviewed by the New Yorker about his new book, a book in which he's been paid SO MUCH money for his opinion on politics, telling the interviewer he's bored by the whole thing. I mean, you'd be hard pressed to find a better definition of white privilege.
