The outrageous over Trump sending illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities is hypocrisy at it finest. It's also total nonsense since @BarackObama "relocated" Syrian refugees and others to Red States over Blue States 2 to 1. hosted.ap.org/dynamic/storie…
The argument at the time was "there are more Red States than Blue States."
That's exactly the argument for the Electoral College and states' rights. If more populous states don't want to live with the consequences of their own actions, then they can steamroll the smaller states.

And by the way, they still get to pretend they are more virtuous than those they subject to the policies they don't want to live with. I have always loathed this issue for this reason. Those advocating for these policies have never genuinely wanted to live with those consequences
