Maybe someone should hold a hearing into all the different ways Trump has asked people who work for him or the government to break laws.
Here are some reported examples:

1. "Ms. Nielsen had earlier refused to carry through with Mr. Trump’s desire to close the border, telling him it was illegal."
2. "Trump told Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan he would grant McAleenan a pardon if he were sent to jail for having border agents block asylum seekers from entering the US in defiance of US law" cnn.com/2019/04/12/pol…
3. "Asked whether he believes federal law requires him to give Congress his tax returns, President Donald Trump responded, 'There’s no law whatsoever.' He’s wrong about that." factcheck.org/2019/04/trump-…
4. "EPA’s failure to make the full studies available to the public is blatantly illegal and a slap in the face to the 2016 bipartisan reforms to TSCA that sought to increase public access to information on chemical risks." blogs.edf.org/health/2018/12…
5. "Interior’s Proposed FOIA Limits May Be Illegal, Watchdogs Say" news.bloombergenvironment.com/environment-an…
6. "Michael Cohen was sentenced to 36 months in prison on Wednesday, in part for 'brazen violations of the election laws' when he orchestrated hush money payments on behalf of President Donald Trump during the 2016 election" pbs.org/newshour/polit…
7. "EPA violated law by keeping harmful pesticide on the market, court says" pbs.org/newshour/natio…
8. Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling, retired: "[T]here is no leader in the military....who would allow a soldier to shoot at an individual throwing a rock. They know that violates the rules of engagement, the law of land warfare...'" axios.com/what-the-milit…
9. "Taking Migrant Children From Parents Is Illegal, U.N. Tells U.S." nytimes.com/2018/06/05/wor…
10. "Trump’s ‘Emergency’ Declaration Is Illegal" >> "Trump himself admitted that there is no emergency when he said, 'I didn't need to do this.'" aclu.org/blog/executive…
...just for starters. Feel free to send other examples and I'll tweet 'em out.
11. "Trump’s Plan to Have the Military Build a Wall is Illegal" justsecurity.org/62149/trumps-p…
12. "Tillerson said Trump is 'pretty undisciplined, doesn’t like to read' and repeatedly attempted to do illegal things....'I would have to say to him, ‘Mr. President, I understand what you want to do, but you can’t do it that way. It violates the law.’'" washingtonpost.com/politics/2018/…
13. "the President told border agents to not let migrants in....agents sought further advice from their leaders, who told them...if they did what the President said they would take on personal liability. You have to follow the law, they were told." cnn.com/2019/04/12/pol…
14. "'If you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of them, would you?' Trump said, drawing cheers and laughter. 'Seriously, OK? Just knock the hell — I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees. I promise. I promise.'" latimes.com/politics/la-na…
15. "Strategy of taking oil in Iraq...‘would amount to a war crime’, experts say...Trump’s frequent invocation of the 'spoils of war' seems to hark back to a bygone age of conquistadors and plunder-based imperialism, illegal now under the laws of war." theguardian.com/us-news/2016/s…
16. "Trump reportedly told tribal leaders to ignore federal laws...and extract whatever they want from the land they control." msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-…
17. "The law has been a major limitation for Trump, who wants to engage troops in his mission to get tougher on immigration....The Posse Comitatus Act prohibits the use of federal troops for domestic law enforcement inside the U.S." nbcnews.com/politics/immig…
And then there are all the DOJ rulings making things heretofore seen as barred by the Constitution and the law suddenly permissible. Such as:
18. DOJ "has adopted a narrow interpretation of a law meant to bar foreign interests from corrupting federal officials, giving Saudi Arabia, China and other countries leeway to curry favor with Donald Trump via deals" theguardian.com/us-news/2019/a…
19. "In a reversal of legal advice given to prior presidents, the Justice Dept. has concluded that it is lawful for Donald Trump to appoint his son-in-law Jared Kushner to a White House post" & that "federal anti-nepotism law...does not cover the WH" politico.com/story/2017/01/…
20. "The Justice Department pushed back on Wednesday against accusations that President Trump’s appointment of Matthew G. Whitaker as acting attorney general was illegal" nytimes.com/2018/11/14/us/…
21. "Trump administration officials have privately considered the possibility of allowing law enforcement to access census information — which would be a clear violation of federal law." brennancenter.org/blog/trump-adm…
And that's not even including all the regulatory rollbacks that are being challenged as violating laws.

22. "Federal judges have ruled against the Trump administration at least 63 times over the past two years, an extraordinary record of legal defeat..." washingtonpost.com/world/national…
22. (con't) "2/3 of the cases accuse the Trump admin of violating the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), a nearly 73-year-old law that forms the primary bulwark against arbitrary rule. The normal 'win rate' for the govt in such cases is about 70%...Trump’s win rate at about 6%."
But wait! There's more...
23. "After the 1st version of the executive order was blocked by the courts, Trump signed another version that was intended not to snag on legal hurdles...'I think we ought to go back to the first one and go all the way'" he said politico.com/story/2017/06/…
24. "WH aides realized early on that they were unable to stop Trump from ripping up paper after he was done with it + throwing it in the trash or on the floor...they chose to clean it up...in order to make sure that the president wasn’t violating the law." politico.com/story/2018/06/…
