In same article, Scruton also claimed it's *impossible* for *British-born" Muslims to be loyal British citizens:

I've no view on whether or not Scruton is an "important" philosopher. What is undeniable is that his directly political writings, as here, are part of an *explicitly* racist tradition running from Powell to the BNP. His defenders know that full well
