At Barnard College, Alexander McNab initially refused to show ID (policy requires ID for entering building after 11pm). He becomes belligerent to campus officers. He has encouraged activists to spread video, claiming racism. Officers now placed on leave.

Portland State, like @BarnardCollege, is an urban campus that has a lot of people randomly come on site. There have been recent reports of men peeking/recording students in public toilets. Best that campus police can do is ID people. For that, they’re demonised too. 
As predicted, deans at @Columbia have released a groveling statement saying the (belligerent) student was a victim of racism & encouraging the student body to engage in social justice programs. Why comment w/such confidence when Barnard’s investigation isn’t complete?
