Farage and all he stands for must be fought and beaten. But let's not waste our time getting cross at the media for covering him.
He's been the chief opponent of the EU in Britain for years. He is running a campaign which severely exacerbates Brexit tensions in the Tory party. It's a story.
It just is. Asking for it not to be covered is akin to wanting political coverage to reflect your political aims.
There's a lot to criticise the media on with Brexit: under-prepared interviewers, under-resourced research capacity, the treatment of a technical issue as a Westminster shit-fight, the echo-chamber acceptance Brexit would happen. But this ain't it.
