Bernie Sanders is running exactly the campaign I expected him to run based on the people he hired.
And the absolute fucking hypocrisy of calling everyone else divisive while he continues to pull the same shit is truly fucking infuriating.
If you don’t want to be accused of being a divisive asshole, maybe don’t hire a bunch of divisive assholes to run your campaign.
And for godssakes, Bernie Sanders cannot handle a fucking ounce of criticism without flipping his shit about things being “unfair.”
This is legitimately insane. He singles out a WOC all of his surrogates repeatedly harass and then complains about being “smeared.”
FYI - the mild criticism came from Think Progress, not Neera Tanden or CAP. Why is he singling our Neera? 🤔

This whole budget is a fucking catastrophe for entitlement programs that help people who need it the most.

Julian Castro was Secretary of HUD for two years. There was a man named Shaun Donovan who was there for 5 and a half years and was actually the one that implemented the program y’all are talking about. Seriously whenever people bring I know y’all don’t understand how things work.

What a lot of people don’t realize is that some policies don’t always work exactly as intended and over time they need to be adjusted or modified. Do you know who the Secretary was that implemented changed to the program? JULIAN CASTRO.

This awed tone of MSM coverage of #Sanders is so gendered.

Harris and Klobuchar are both daughters of single mothers who had to raise their kids alone after their husbands left the families.
Warren also grew up in a working class family in Oklahoma.

1. What are your policies ?

2. Are you proposing them in good faith?

3. Will you be effective in implimenting them?

4. are you fit for office?

This needs unpacking...

Whether a politician is seen as operating in good faith is often tied to whether we think a politician is "authentic."

This shit is huuuuuuugely sexist and priveledges men over women.

How is it POSSIBLE that these folks missed the blue wave which was fundamentally female--driven by women voters?
Not just driven by women voters, but driven by women candidates. Left-leaning women candidates, including WOC who ousted long-time older white male incumbents like....Bernie Sanders.

How is anyone missing this fact?
It's a major reason why Sanders' numbers have plummeted.

He doesn't have an option that doesn't include hijacking the party ticket again.

Bernie Sanders won't have the structural infrastructure and no one *worth having* will be willing to build it for him.

Trust me.
And I know this because one of the major complaints that his campaign staff had was not having proper infrastructure.

No one knew what they were doing. And Bernie was dragging his foot around.

No one is going to do that with him again.

They've been talking about it forever.

It was recently revealed that Devine was sharing polling data with Manafort during the primary. They are all in this together & the media ignores it purposely.

1/ After it was revealed on @maddow that Manafort/Russia was working as far back as 2012 to smear Hillary Clinton it made more sense.

Think about this. Who was going to primary against Pres Obama in 2012? Bernie Sanders
2/ Why didn't #Sanders follow through? My opinion based on the timeline of events & the extensive research I have done on #TadDevine, is that Sanders was told to hold off until 2016 by Devine. We know that Devine was working with #Manafort on the Ukraine election during this time

allow me to explain:

first thing to realize is that compromise usually involved splitting the difference (e.g. arbitration -- if you've ever been privy, you know exactly what i mean).

next you need to understate that starting positions matter
now we come to the republicans..

they know to start out WAY to the right of anything sane

democrats, being slightly more reasonable tend to open with somthing they thing will win the other side over to their POV.

... it ... will ... not ....

so this happens.
after a few years of this (say since 1980) you end up with both parties being FAR to the right of anything that a rational person would consider CENTER

enter #bernie sanders and his populist, moderate policy positions like #medicareforall or raising the minimum wage
