My heartfelt thanks to all the well-wishers, starting with @rahulgandhi, who have called to inquire about my health. I am fine apart from 8 stitches in my head &24 hours hospital observation. 
A heavy iron hook fell on my head when a temple Thulabharam scale gave way. Lots of blood but no apparent other damage. Thank God it didn’t hurt anyone around me — could have caused a very serious injury.
At first it looked very grave, but thanks to the grace of GandhariAmman Devi (a manifestation of Shakti), the hook fell on my head without damaging either an optic nerve nor the brain. A true Vishu miracle.
