At the Age of 17, in 2012, I fell in Love with Nigeria Customs Service, and dedicated the last 7years of  my life to the service.
I have visited over 40+ Custom Formations across various geopolitical zones, from Corporate Headquaters to Training schools to Minute Border Stations

I have even spent days in various border towns and smuggling villages out of pure untainted and sincerest love for the Service.
Between 2012-2015 i have read every article about Customs printed in DailyTrust News paper.
I have read every Monthly Order Printed between 2012-2015.

I have read voluminous books on Customs and Excise Management Act (CEMA), Common External Tariff  (CET), transborder Crimes and Border Security.

In 2012, there were rumours of The establishment of a Customs Academy, for that reason, i wanted to delay my Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exams..

On knowing it was a Staff College and Regional Centre
For World Customs Organization, I proceeded to Study Bsc. International Studies and just last week,  i rounded up my Masters in International Affairs and Diplomacy at the age of 23.

In 2013, while an undergraduate, i got a call saying the then CG, Alh. Abdullahi Dikko, Mni, was sighted at a millitary checkpoint mounted at Kwangila, Fly Over, Zaria. I immediately ran down 4 flight of stairs, scaled a fence just to see his Convoy pass at the North Gate of ABU

Gracious God, it was a sight to behold. It was then it dawned on me that i was just wearing singlet.

Congratulations again, for Generating 1.1trn in 2017, it is a rare privilege and i am overwhelmed to be part, as i was a corper in the service. I served at the Correspondence Office, directly under the Area Comptroller of Kaduna/Katina Command @nigeriacustom

Out of adoration for the Service, I used to come to work as early as 6:30am and shed tear drops during the Monthly Parade. All i have ever wanted to be was an Officer @daily_trust

In February 2018, I participated during the Joint Handover and Destruction of 588million Naira counterfeit drugs smuggled into the Country through unapproved routes in Katsina State.

Today 15th April 2019, at 12:00am, I forfeited Sleep & began Application into the Service. I pray for God's grace and I pray the recruitment will not be hijacked by our Politicians, Traditional Rulers & thier Croonies. I pray Children of Nobodies like us make it into the Service
