Electrify everything, go 100% renewable ASAP.
Cut way way way back on meat, plant trees where pastures once stood.
Green roofs, street trees, victory gardens 2.0
Mass transit, trains.
Passive heating and cooling everywhere.
Marshall plan for climate.
Big carrots and big sticks

This, at a bare minimum, is what it will take for humanity—not the planet, the planet will be fine—to survive in any non Mad Max way.

And the sooner everybody starts wrapping their head around it the better.

Also, ban most consumer plastics.

There will be fortunes and legend made, and lost, in this transition. Put your faith in, and your money on, those pushing for the real systemic changes.

And, to me this goes without saying but: density, upzoning, walk and bikeable, lawns are mostly aspirational artifacts of a different age...oh, and if you do have outdoor space, support pollinators if you like food.
