1/ Post-Mueller, many stories worthy of renewed scrutiny and/or retraction, following Buzzfeed's lead (buzzfeednews.com/article/jasonl…). Let's start w/ @nytmike @MarkMazzettiNYT @mattapuzzo: "Trump Campaign Aides Had Repeated Contacts With Russian Intelligence" nytimes.com/2017/02/14/us/…
2/ This article claims that: "Phone records and intercepted calls show that members of... Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign" - including Manafort "and other Trump associates had repeated contacts with senior Russian intelligence officials in the year before the election." 
3/ That's quite the claim! But now, in his exhaustive review of Trump-Russia links, Mueller makes zero mention of it. And we already know -- which, to its credit, NYT acknowledged -- that Comey denied this story under oath: "in the main, it was not true." nytimes.com/2017/06/08/us/…
4/ So if we have Comey denying it, and Mueller making no reference to any "repeated contacts with senior Russian intelligence officials" by Trump aides or associates, how can the NYT not revisit this story, at minimum? (if not outright retract it).
