So @Tesla's latest innovation is a "reluctance motor" designed to make their cars go further. This new tech sounds exciting. I wonder how this "reluctance" effect works.

I'm joking because it's an obvious typo, but at the same time, I'm confused because my understanding of tech is that it's either "permanent magnet" or "inductance" motor, so spelling it right still leads to gibberish.
Apparently, this is what being old gives you. I learned simple motors as a kid, when this sort of thing wasn't practical. Now with computers, it becomes a thing.
