A first scandal for a new Governor. A pro-sulfide mining politician with no college degree gets a $100K state job designed just for him and posted for only 24 hours. A woman with a masters degree is turned down.
What is @Tim_Walz going to do about this?

It appears that @joeradinovich arranged his own hiring with political operatives at IRRR who kept the job open for only 24 hours and ignored a far more qualified woman applicant. If Governor @Tim_Walz is really upset about this, he will ask Joe to resign and order a fair process
Attorney General @keithellison should investigate hiring at the IRRR, and at least one political appointee in his office (Joe’s pro-sulfide-mining fiance @carlymelin) had better stay out if it.
We’re fed up with government corruption that contributes to environmental destruction.

More on the PolyMet-Glencore corporate relationship from The Timberjay, the Iron Range newspaper that blew the lid on the IRRR hiring scandal just last week:

Back to the drawing board.
The tax burden should be shifted to those who can afford to pay, not low wage earners.
@Tim_Walz must cut government waste, including the $100K political patronage position at IRRR given to @joeradinovich.

Minnesota has sky high taxes. For all that money we should get Medicare for All, instead of waste and political patronage, such as the IRRR job given to @joeradinovich (sans college degree) that pays more than most liberal arts professors (with Ph.Ds) get at state universities.
Our state legislature should not approve ANY new taxes on Minnesotans until we have a plan for Medicare for All and we get PolyMet Joe off the government payroll.

@TinaSmithMN is hardly an environmentalist. She supports sulfide mining in Northern Minnesota as does @realdonaldtrump. She buys the "jobs. jobs, jobs" argument.

There is not a single Republican today who can run against @TinaSmithMN on her environmental record except former MN Governor @GovArne who is smart enough to oppose sulfide mining. The fact that the GOP thinks Smith is an environmentalist shows how extreme the GOP has become.
The fact that former Republican Governor @GovArne is calling out @TinaSmithMN and other DFL politicians for support of sulfide mining- not to mention the extreme right MN GOP that banned him from its conventions- shows how bad the situation is in Minnesota.
Bye-bye clean water.
