Neo-Nazi skinheads travelled w a #NYCFC fan group this weekend to #DCU where they displayed banners in the stadium w/slogans borrowed from Spanish fascist hools, including a Nazi Oi band named after the unit that fought for Hitler.

The facts are, even after recent attempts, even after the very public identification of these guys for years, even after all the online bragging of Irv Antillon’s “RAC” group id’ing themselves, this is the response we get from @NYCFC (this was this week)

I, and many other #NYCFC supporters who’ve shared their experiences complaining to officials in @NYCFC’s front office, have been told that there is nothing #NYCFC can do unless these people Sieg Heil or punch someone in the stadium....

Since @thesoccerdon ‘s recent change including social media behavior, inand others have been told we need to investigate social media and identity the individuals behind it. ...

Even when those using their own names were flagged, I was told by @NYCFC officials that they just couldn’t be sure who was behind what screen name, and were therefore powerless to enforce these new rules.

Sadly, I can only conclude #NYCFC administration are committed to ignoring this problem.

So #NYCFC supporters will need pressure from outside to force the owners & league to rid the club of this fascist skinhead gang and their supporters in sec 236.

Someone sent me in this pic. Irv Antillon’s partner, who happens to be the heiress to @tglocer ‘s @thomsonreuters fortune, posted this of Irv in DC. He was in the stadium w fascist banners, posing with @templados12 . He uses his IG to recruit at @NYCFC & network w fascists abroad

Update: among the B49 Nazi skinheads in the #NYCFC official supporters section away to DC was Dani Cano, who was banned by MLS in 2016. Who got him supporters group tickets? Why didn’t the @NYCFC traveling stewards identify him?

Don’t know this guy either, but he got tickets in @NYCFC’s managed official supporters section. Which Supporters Group? Why does that supporters group still have special privileges @NYCFCHelp ?

Here are some common questions we’re getting and their answers (so we can point folks to this thread later, after covering “they’re not really Nazis” and “they can’t be Nazis because some are Latino” above)

Question 1) @NYCFC can’t kick someone out for their beliefs.

Answer 1) We’re not asking for people to be banned for their beliefs but their *actions*: in this case membership in a far right skinhead gang, in fascist groups like “Proud Boys” and attendance in public at fascist and neo Nazi rallies

Answer 1, pt 2) @NYCFC officials have been telling some that they also have no legal right to deny entry on these grounds. That’s untrue.
In fact, under US & NY law any business, including @NYCFC has that right!

Answer pt 1) Well, first, #NYCFC can ban anyone now. For instance people holding up a “Nazis Out” flag. Or a Gay Rights rainbow flag. Or an American flag. That’s where our community’s standards come in...

So why would we not, as a community, demand public members of hate groups not be banned permanently from @NYCFC? And that @NYCFC do the leg work to monitor and enforce it, not demand we fans do it for them?

Answer pt 2) We want something very specific. Orgs who monitor hate groups have singled out Charlottesville marchers, Proud Boys, &211 Bootboys as dangerous hate groups. @MLS & @NYCFC must take expert opinions and then assess each group as it comes up truebluesnycfc.wordpress.com
