2/ FISA application also expressed concern about Trump's "more conciliatory words" about Crimea, blaming this on Trump's "recent association with several people sympathetic to Russian influence in Ukraine", including Page. "August 2016 article" probably politico.com/story/2016/08/…
3/ reason that Ukraine platform reference caught my eye was because two of earliest Mueller interviews (see my chronology ) were with never-Trump opponents of a conciliatory policy on Ukraine. Such policy issues should NOT be relevant to FISA surveillance
4/ here's something interesting: Mueller Report (pdf,229) used identical newspaper article when it raised question about Trump's move to more conciliatory policy concerning Ukraine.
