Holy crap. Just listened to it. This thread doesn't even do it justice. The ignorance of basic facts and omitting of anything that doesn't fit a certain propoganda narrative is insane.

The @nytimes owes listeners an apology.
@nytimes I might have to do a post just going through all the lies and seemingly intentional omissions in the 30 minute segment. I could probably write a whole book on it. I've heard Russian propoganda that was more faithful to reality. Unbelievable.
@nytimes Forgetting all the other lies and omissions, the fact that @mikiebarb promoted the lie that the Intafada targeted "Israeli soldiers and military targets" is despicable.

There were kids on those busses and in those cafes, you dishonest hack.

The amount of ignorance about antisemitism is astonishing. Antisemitism doesn’t work on a left vs right scale. Antisemite tend to prioritize their bigotry over everything else. That’s why David Duke has been constantly praising Ilhan Omar. That’s why he promotes that NYT cartoon.
It’s not because Duke suddenly isn’t racist or Islamophobic or doesn’t despite Omar’s views on immigration etc, but because he prioritizes his antisemitism above those things. He views her and her defenders as a good tool to normalize the same hatred he has always promoted.
That’s also why responsible people have to speak out against attempts to normalize antisemitism on both sides. Because at the end of the day, there isn’t much difference between them.

The number one impediment to a peace deal between the Israelis and the Palestinians is how the international community treats the Palestinian leadership. They are treated like children who are not responsible for any actions or held to any logical standard.
Just as a small example: The Palestinian government openly promotes and rewards terrorism against Israeli civilians. Israel allows Jews to build houses in major settlements. Guess which of these is consistently cited as a bigger problem and impediment to peace?
It does a serious disservice to the Palestinian people to treat them this way. Hamas and the PA can waste countless resources and mistreat their people, but they know Israel will always get blamed. There is no incentive for them to move towards peace and prosperity for people.

Northam on LT abortions: "The infant would be delivered, the infant would be kept comfortable, the infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother."
He was given several chances to clarify, but essentially refused. It's a perfectly fair reading of those comments to say he was suggesting that discussion would be as to whether to allow that baby to die.

Suggesting that interpretation is a lie is just spin/hackery.
It's one thing if reporters gave Northam's actual comments and his statement, but calling a reasonable interpretation of his comments "a lie" is exactly how you lose credibility.

Yes, it is an insane thing to say. So go ask Northam why he said it...

Many of the people who responded to my last thread engaged in carceral logics saying some variation on “his ass should rot in jail” if not calls for his death. Are there other ways we can imagine justice, accountability and healing?
Prison abolitionist Mariame Kaba has said, as ppl raised w/ carceral logics it’s hard for us to imagine or desire alternatives. The #prisonindustrialcomplex has limited how we think about justice—even though other nations do things differently.

My company was raided. It should have been a straightforward matter. But the #MetPolice & #LBRUT forgot to seize my computer & came back to do a 2nd raid. The search warrant didn't permit a second entry, however, #LBRUT entered unlawfully

Complaints were then made to my MP #VinceCable. He liaised with the #Metpolice & #LBRUT. And then weeks later, the search warrant was completely changed & was passed off as the search warrant executed on the day of the raids.

First, my stream art. My art usually starts somehow based on a @streamlabs theme, even if only for inspiration or to make my custom CSS/JS a lot easier to wrangle. The text is usually done w/ custom browser sources. For more info on Streamlabs OBS visit streamlabs.com/slobs/d/103698…
For custom fonts, I override whatever font selection is made via custom CSS. I embed my fonts as base 64 in the CSS thanks to @FontSquirrel's webfont generator. Base 64 seems to perform the best for locally-hosted HTML files with inline CSS even. Probably because no caching.

The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.
