New York Times apologizes for cartoon containing ‘anti-Semitic tropes’ washex.am/2UXgX3z
The New York Times apologized Saturday for a cartoon published internationally that contained “anti-Semitic tropes.”
The cartoon was a drawing of President Trump wearing a skullcap and being lead by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is portrayed as being a service dog for the blind.
Now maybe the NY Times will apologize for its entire history of antisemetism.

“As per CO no one is to know about this,” Sgt. Jerry Loveno said in August 2015 text messages to other members of the unit referring to Redmond and obtained by the New York Daily News. “Not even the other teams.”

“No one is to know,” Loveno said once again.

Trump is doing his job, enforcing U.S. law as it is currently written by, of all places, Congress. If Ocasio-Cortez doesn't like those laws, well, guess what -- she's the lawmaker who's in a position to change them.
Is she trying to do that? There's no evidence for it on her website. It's quite likely she doesn't even know that that's her own job. Trump has no such power to change quotas or processing requirements.

The OPCW FFM also examined the supposed chemical weapons labs the Syrian army showed off to reporters and activists, some of whom were gullible enough to believe them. I like this part in particular cc @DanKaszeta @Partisangirl
Back in April 2018 @arawnsley spoke to experts about the supposed chemical weapons lab found in Douma, who stated they weren't producing chemical weapons, as the OPCW now confirms bellingcat.com/news/mena/2018…

#New PA cong. map increases D chance of winning the House majority by 4%. They only need a 6.8% generic ballot margin now (down from 7.7) to be favored.

Diff. will be closer to 10% in Nov when uncertainty from polls is ⬇️. Redraw is a very big deal.

One major reason the new PA map is such a big gain for Democrats is that it solidifies, not just tips, PA districts in Philly burbs. Also creates one additional vulnerable R district. (Easily seen in this map made by @JMilesColeman)
My forecasting model will have new PA map in the near future. This is not just a simple switch; it’s a coding redesign, restructuring of input, & drawing new geographic files. Takes a while (for me, a student).
