(1/3) The fact that the #SynagogueShooter said he doesn't like Trump bc of Trump's support for Israel doesn't negate the fact that the president has given quiet comfort 2 white nationalists like him by basically shutting down any effort 2 monitor & stop white right wing terror...
(2/3) Even more though: these folks are emboldened by the president's rhetoric on immigration. And because white nats and Nazis view Jews as behind immigration they attack Jews. Trump's rhetoric on THAT amps up WN anger, which gets turned against the ones they blame for it...
(3/3) In this way, no matter Trump's views on Israel, or the fact that his son-in-law is Jewish & his daughter converted, his rhetoric on migration/demographic change feeds anti-Semitism by default bc of how white nationalists understand immigration & whom they blame for it...

When Obama was in office, it seems that @MeetThePress disproportionately highlighted GOP critics of the administration. Now that Trump is in office, they disproportionately feature GOP defenders of Trump. If I'm wrong, surely they have someone in research who can show us numbers
@MeetThePress and the fact that @chucktodd just lets people lie & after following up once & they still lie, he lets it go & moves on is pathetic. He should refuse to move on until they give a straight answer & if they won't he should remove them from the set and never have them back. Ever
@MeetThePress @chucktodd and if the best answer he has for this is: "well then I would never have guests"...good, shut the show down and find new work because seriously, nothing you're doing at that point is worthwhile. You're just a conduit for bullshit

1/ A few thoughts about the SAT's new "adversity score" and its inadequacy for addressing systemic inequity in education and college access...
2/ First, let's make things clear for those not up on the story: the College Board (folks responsible for the SAT) are reporting "adversity scores" to colleges, intended to signify when students have faced special obstacles that might explain their somewhat lower scores...
3/ Or, potentially, when they have had unearned advantages that may explain their higher ones. In theory this is fine, and laudable. But there are problems...

3/ What Ben is doing is classic differentiating between "positive" and "negative" rights: the right TO a particular thing/good, etc., versus the right not to have something done TO you by another (in this case, taxation to provide health care to others)...

I see several media people stating it probably has to do with Iran, which could very well be....

In the statement, though, it says they will discuss "matters such as Switzerland's role in facilitating diplomatic relationships AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL ISSUES."

I wonder if anything will come up about the Swiss banks and related investigations that have been going on. 🤔

Trump once said “Islam hates us”, today New Zealand’s terrorist praised him as a “symbol of renewed white identity”.
White nationalism has proven to be the “quite killer, but no one talks about the dangerous rhetoric white nationalists push through politicians and media pundits.
#Trump tweets about the terrorist attacks in New Zealand, however, failed to mention:
•Muslims were killed
•Didn’t call out the terrorist who praised him
•Muslims today didn’t just “sensesssly died” but they were “killed” in cold blood.
•“Best wishes” is not a condolence.
“#Hello Brother" were the last words by the first Muslim man to be shot and killed by the coward terrorist.
Let that sink in.
