There's really nothing going on is there. It's all dead. We're going to piddle away this time until October and go into crisis mode again.
It's not just No.10 at fault either, although they are predominantly at fault. It's everyone really. Remainers are squandering the advantage. Labour is a mess of warring tribes.
Even journalists - and I suspect readers - are thrilled, to be putting something other than Brexit at the top of the news. It's a relief.
Only Farage shows any momentum, and he is campaigning in the name of his own moral vacuity.
So we're just going to sit here and twiddle our thumbs until the Tories unseat May, which they probably won't, or we have to beg to extend Article 50 again.
But the problem has not gone away. We're like someone getting drunk to forget they have an underlying medical condition.
