Here are AG Barr's prepared opening remarks for his testimony tomorrow before the Senate Judiciary Committee. No direct reference to the reporting tonight that Mueller expressed concern with how Barr was handling the release of information from the report assets.documentcloud.org/documents/5984…
Barr ends by saying DOJ's work on all this is basically done, and it's up to the public/political process to respond.

"As I am sure you agree, it is vitally important for the Department of Justice to stand apart from the political process and not to become an adjunct of it."
Barr defends his 3/24 letter summarizing Mueller's conclusions weeks before releasing the report itself: "I did not believe that it was in the public interest to release additional portions of the report in piecemeal fashion, leading to public debate over incomplete information."

In court today, the AUSA showed the judge four of the long guns that law enforcement recovered from Hasson's home, and described how Hasson allegedly modified them for ease of use. They were shown in a way that we couldn't really see them, but the boxes were several feet long

Barr should be worried: He said he had no objection to Mueller testifying, and now Trump is freaking out (as well he should). Trump will not forgive Barr for this.

Mueller’s testimony will be a major setback for both of them, both on the collusion and obstruction counts.
The fact that Barr has given Mueller permission to testify isn’t even the worst of it. 1/25
After all, Barr couldn’t actually prevent Mueller from testifying--not eventually, anyway (see below).

Now, such a clause would prohibit the President from granting or withholding an office based on racial identity, and, in like vein, would prohibit the Senate from withholding consent to a nomination, or granting it, on the basis of racial identity.
