SPYGATE THREAD: @jsolomonReports article @thehill was interesting. I somehow missed release of emails from Nellie to Bruce and other DOJ folks. thehill.com/opinion/white-… What struck me though was the passage about what Nellie shared with Bruce and other DOJ prosecutors. 1/
2/ Here's the significant passage. Nellie shared with Bruce open-source documents concerning Page's speech in Moscow in July 2016. Why is that significant? Because the FISA application filed in October of 2016 relied on open-source information putting Page in Moscow & 
3/ mysteriously redacted a footnote about that open-source document! I highlighted this point @FDRLST thedailycoin.org/2019/04/08/was… But what I couldn't tell is whether Nellie had been the purveyor of the open-source information used by DOJ in FISA application.
4/ Nellie asserted marital privilege and refused to provide any details, but Bruce testified that Nellie had provided him with her research on a memory stick in 2016 but that he couldn't remember when. In fact, when pushed on that question Bruce claimed he didn't even remember
5/ whether Nellie provided the thumb drive before or after the election. And note how Bruce says "at some point" he had become aware that she was investigating the same people that he was. But now we've got some problems.
6/ Bruce unequivocally testified that Nellie provided him information on ONE occasion and that was the thumb drive. But @jsolomonReports article noted that in emails Nellie provided Bruce other information. So I wanted to see what exactly Nellie passed on to Bruce re Page & when.
7/ And guess what? Nellie Ohr emailed Bruce a list of open-source documents including the one that referenced @carterwpage speech at the New Economic School. EXACTLY what was referenced in the FISA application for Page dated October 2016.
8/ And when did Nellie share this with Bruce? AUGUST 2016--before the DOJ/FBI filed the first FISA application. Let's add to that fact that at the time Nellie emailed Bruce she was working for Fusion, researching Trump/Russia connections w/ open source materials. Nellie also
9/ testified that her research for Fusion involved open source research and that she learned through her research that Carter Page had gone to Moscow in July 2016. Yet Bruce testified only on ONE occassion did Nellie provide her research and that was via the flash drive.
10/ Of course, Bruce is going to claim Nellie's emails weren't part of her Fusion work, but that's nonsense! Nellie was working for Fusion at the time doing open source research. And Bruce stated "on one occasion" "Nellie provided some information to me." That is blatantly false.
11/11 So now we have further evidence FBI relied on Clinton-funded opp. research fed by Nellie to hubby to obtain FISA warrant (read my entire @FDRLST on this point) thefederalist.com/2019/04/08/nel… AND that Bruce at best obfuscated the information Nellie provided and at worse lied. END
