Lewis has lost his seat to No Overall Control
This is in Liam Fox’ seat as we head to 1000 losses for Govt - realise need for quick hot takes after 10% vote counted, and for politicos saying it justifies whatever they already thought. But on what basis is this “get on with it” or “get it sorted”?

The point on LibDem surge is not just about Brexit.

Cameron assembled a Tory majority for the first time in decades in 2015 on the back of LibDem seats and voters...

May’s push for Kipper votes in GE2017 was incoherent with this. No majority.

These results are more of same.
Tories picking up some councillors in Brexity areas but losing far more in commuter belt Remainy areas... Not enough of former in big maj Labour seats to win them... but latter spread awkwardly around country enough to lose seats = GE2017 loss of majority

Difficult now to sustain the understandable Number 10 attempt to claim this as an equal “plague” on both houses...

-1200 is basically bubonic Black Death territory.

Superb result for LibDems...
