President of the United States retweeting a leading white nationalist. Normal GOP stuff. 
This person is best known as the white identitarian who made a race-baiting, inaccurate film about white South African farmers that got covered in a segment by Tucker Carlson that was then tweeted out by Trump.
And as we think about the sinews that connect the explicitly racist far right to the center-right...here's the guy who ginned up the Sarah Jeong outrage mob that Andrew Sullivan and other "respectable" conservatives participated in. The guy's a big Lauren Southern fan.
Southern has also been a long-time ally of Faith Goldy, another Canadian white identitarian who ran for Toronto mayor and was endorsed by America's own, lovely Steve King. vox.com/policy-and-pol…
Another of Southern's close compatriots is Brittany Pettibone. The Washington state GOP just passed a resolution endorsing the idea that her Austrian Nazi boyfriend should be allowed into the country so she can marry him. spokesman.com/stories/2019/a…
