Let’s remember that the Lib Dems actually have an awful track record on immigration, and have solidly let down migrant communities for a long time
1) They voted for the 2014 Immigration Act

A bill that caused Windrush. A bill that created the Hostile Environment.

@vincecable voted for it

2) Bizarre migration policy

For a very long time they advocated a truly bizarre migration policy. One that would have allowed migrants to only live in certain regions

Utterly unenforceable pandering

3) The Hostile Environment

The Lib Dems were active supporters of the Hostile Environment in government. Here’s Nick Clegg boasting of measures that made life harder for all BAME communities
4) Family Income Threshold

The Lib Dems voted through the barbaric rule that separates families.

Minimum income requirements ignore both partners earning potential and splits up families

The fact is @TheIndGroup are just as implicated. Anna Soubry & others voting record is just as awful.

The only principled and pro migrant vote on 23rd May is to vote @TheGreenParty.

@CarolineLucas has been peerless in fighting the scapegoating of migrants
