You can see it, you know it but ypu wont discuss it
You know there is an issue in your life
You choose to talk about everything else but the issue

You fail to launch by not dealing with the issue
God has a future for us but we fail to start because we wont deal with issues in our lives
Preachers and leaders must shoot the elephant in the room
We are under a mandate from God to address whats not from God

As time goes by, the elephant will grow bigger and not create space on the room
Isaiah 54
We dont want to share with others and become barren
There is no food coming forward
We become tribalistic and racist
God has called us to love our neighbours

Elephant of Jealousy, division and quarelling
God has called us to live in unity
When you live the elephant untouched, it will grow until you cant control it

Elephant of Jesus ignored
People can preach whole sermon without mentioning JESUS

Jesus says, I am the way, truth and the Life: no one comes to the Father except through me
Where are we sending people to?
Demons tremble at the name of Jesus
We think we are good without God

God chooses mercy over sacrifice at any given take

Elephant of unforgiveness
When we forgive, do we truly forgive?
Its good to give forgiveness but its mot a one time thing
Its a daily act
Forgive until it becomes a new normal
For - before give
You go before the offence was given

People with hold forgiveness and it turns into bitterness

Elephant of Commitment
How committed are you to your faith?
How committed are you to relationships?
People are there for seasons and are gone
People are left blaming themselves

We want to have it all without being committed
Commit to the covenant
What you don't defeat i your singlehood will defeat you in your marriage

Elephant of Jealousy and envy
Jealousy is when you count other people's blessings, not your very own

You pin bad stories about them to make them look bad
You feel They are shining on your shine
We envy people we dont know what they have had to do to be where they are at

How have you disguised your elephant?
Why do you ignore the elephant?
Confess sins to one another and get accountable to one another

Walk with God and He will teach how to walk this life
You know things are there but no courage to face them
