I have mixed feelings about the business of pageants because objectification, gross management, etc. That said, pageants are a part of pop culture that aren’t going away-and the winners have a positive impact on our culture & inspire young women. Thus, this is awesome:
Now, if only we could get the gross misogynist management out of the way and have these pageants run by women who care about & respect other women, that would be good.

Or-as is often the case-was rotten leadership a sign of rot below decks as well? Did Haskell’s misogyny permeate lower ranks in the organization?
