So, under RICO: once events are put in motion on behalf of protecting one or more individuals engaged in criminal activity, by spinning off a false narrative (let's say, for instance, Pizzagate/QAnon), do acts in furtherance include only those committed by those with knowledge...
or would any promotion of that narrative by unwitting agents also count as acts that extend the statute of limitations for charging RICO and/or predicate crimes?
Namely, could acts in furtherance include stochastic terrorism designed by a small core team to conceal ongoing criminal activity by intimidating victims+witnesses if the actors do not fully understand the intended impact of their acts to promote that narrative?
