Ingredients: Full round Urad dal (Minapa gundlu), sona masuri rice, rock salt
Process:
1. wash and soak 1 cup Urad dal for 10 hours.
2. Wash 2 cups rice and dry it in shade on a cotton cloth.
3. Grind the soaked dal without adding any water and keep aside.
5. Hand-pound the rice separately to make a coarse Rava.
6. Soak this dry rava into the Urad dal batter, add salt and leave for 10 hours.
7. The batter ferments and raises naturally.
9. splutter a few jeera and mustard seeds.
10. Add 2 ladles of the batter and cook on low flame.
11. Once one side is golden red, flip the cake to the other side.
12. Dibbarotti ready! Serve with fresh Avakkai!😍
