1. Can I please make one observation about Lindsey Graham’s absurd contention that we should start investigating Obama-era DOJ officials for hating Trump and trying to get Hillary Clinton elected? Here is just how idiotic that claim is: During the 2016 presidential campaign...
2. the DOJ/FBI/INTELLIGENCE community was investigating the Hillary email debacle AND investigating Trump & his campaign for potentially being compromised by/coordinating with the Russians. What did those so-called Obama-era DOJ officials do? They told the American people ...
3. about Hillary’s reckless handling of her emails but DID NOT TELL the American people of the serious concerns about the Trump-Russia connection. Indeed, James Comey told the American people that Hillary was extremely careless in her handling of her emails...
4. But concluded that no reasonable prosecutor would bring a criminal charge based on the evidence developed during the investigation. However, shortly before the election, Comey announced he was REOPENING the Hillary investigation...
5. as a result of having found additional Hillary emails on Anthony Wiener’s laptop. All the while the public was kept in the dark about the Trump-Russia investigation. Put another way, prior to the 2016 presidential election...
6. these so-called Obama-era officials disclosed tons of information damaging to Hillary Clinton but disclosed exactly ZERO information damaging to Trump. Nevertheless, Lindsey Graham wants to investigate the DOJ/FBI officials for hating Trump and helping Hillary? PLEASE!!!
7. By criticizing Hillary & remaining silent about Trump those officials HELPED TRUMP & HURT HILLARY. Indeed, their decisions may very well have caused Trump to be elected. I hasten to add, I firmly believe Comey & co. made what they thought were the best decisions at the time...
8. However, the consequences have been horrific and dramatically damaging to our country. But Lindsey Graham’s position that we now need to launch investigations into government officials for helping Hillary and hurting Trump is laughable ...
9. and inflicting needless additional damage to our country & its institutions. Lindsey has the corrupt & criminal president he wants (the man he said during the campaign was crazy and unfit to serve). He needs to stop peddling lies & sowing dissension & confusion. Enough!

2. Yes, I’m biased as I supervised & tried murder cases with some when they were AUSAs (Boasberg), tried murder cases against others when they were DC Public Defenders (Chutkan), tried lengthy RICO cases before some (Lamberth, Hogan), handled death-penalty-eligible cases . . .
