1) So, let's do a little thought experiment here. Just a quick one. How are you feeling right now? "Oh no... the omnibus bill... it seems scary." "Oh man... there's no wall and there might never be one..." "The Obama administration is getting away with it..." "We lost PA-18..."
2) Even I had my moment. It was more RAGE than WORRY, as I was annoyed at the GOP not actually getting in and fighting the bullshit from the dems. But then, I thought, who's pushing it? Who's controlling what we're talking about at any given point?
3) Look at that fucking sidebar on the left. How many fucking panics have been induced, how much have you worried, based on shit from that 'Trends' list?
4) How many times is it a washington post or a cnn story from the @debradelai rat list?
5) Its every time, isn't it. YYYYYEP. See, that's fear. Amazing article from freaking @greggutfeld of all people, foxnews.com/opinion/2018/0… on how much we're being driven by panics during the Trump presidency.
6) Right now? We're fearaholics. We're ADDICTED to the fear. We can't let it go. We can't just stop panicking. Some of us like @ThomasWictor are able to stop giving enough of a fuck to see through the panic. Or you can be like me and be addicted to rage instead. 
7) But the point is, we didn't INTEND to become addicted to the fear. We didn't mean to become fearaholics. It was drip-fed to us, bit by bit, more and more each year, until before we knew it we became dependent on it.
8) Fear, Rage, those are unhealthy. Yes, I admit that rage is unhealthy. It simply isn't sustainable. It requires finding NEW things to be pissed off at to sustain itself. It's a forest fire that destroys fucking EVERYTHING.
10) The problem? Hope's a dirty word thanks to this dirty mother fucker. Trump can't just come out and say, "I bring you HOPE," because this mother fucker promised hope and change and presided over the a 24% increase in suicides by driving this nation fucking INSANE.
11) Thread on THAT little phenomena. And just so you're aware, yes, mass shootings are suicidal in nature, with the added fatalism and nihilism. Do some math, compare the increase in mass shootings with the increase in the suicide rate.
12) But, I'm doing a thought experiment. So let's have ourselves a little thought experiment. What if, say, in September, several somethings happened in quick succession.
13) Like, say, Mueller having exonerated Trump, or been so disgraced he was fired and chased out of DC. Like say, the DoJ alongside the OIG prosecuting Obama era DoJ officials for incompetence, fuckups, and lies of the grandest caliber imaginable.
14) Permanent tax reform. Breaking ground on the wall seeming to happen overnight. Election reform. The Mullahs chased out of Iran. North Korea actually trying to open up and reach a peace accord.
15) "There's no way he could get all that done in a year!" Well, there's a lesson I learned in one of my MBA classes. The most extreme changes to an industry comes from someone outside of the industry with an innovation.
16) To quote a webcomic I absolutely LOVE, archives.erfworld.com/Book+2/111 "The question, 'how might we survive?' was the wrong one to ask. Parson had ignored it for, 'how might we still win?' In answering the greater question, the lesser was also solved."
17) We're asking right now, "How can Trump survive the midterms?" That's the question @cnn wants us to ask. Dems retake the house and senate, they do impeachment proceedings, because the GOP voters were too scared and gave up going to the polls. That's what they WANT.
18) You want to put your mind to something? Figure out how Trump's going to win. Because that's the game he's playing, and chances are, he's already figured it out. We're just seeing the individual chess moves right now.
