Ouch! Congress orally moved for Summary Judgement. Could be a wrap for Trump. Mazars is filing submitting something in secret.😬
3. I'm watching for an order abt 5/19/2019 that will likely order the Trump accounting files turned over. Then Trump will seek a stay, first at the DC Court of Appeals and, if denied, at SCOTUS. If SCOTUS grants it, a hearing could be in early June. Trump better start packing.

1. In 1965 SCOTUS held that the right of marital privacy was violated by states banning birth control. Eight years later the court ruled 7-2 in Roe v Wade that the privacy right encompassed abortion and the court used history and common law to fashion the three trimester rule.
2. Simply, in the first trimester the court held that the state interest in the fetus was low and should give way to the woman's privacy. Second trimester added a higher state interest and by the third trimester the state could ban it.
3. If the Court says that a state legislature has the right to ban abortions it follows that a state legislature has the power to legalize it. That is how it was before Roe. But if the state can legalize it, the Congress can too. We are giving way to much weight to the Court

Trump sued Mazars to stop them from complying with the subpoena.

2/ Trump’s lawyers filed a motion to delay arguments. Specifically they said that the “short notice” would undermine Trump’s constitutional due process rights.

They wanted the hearing canceled or moved to a later date.

1/ A few observations about the SEC's contempt motion. First, while both $TSLA and Musk were sued back in September, and both signed consent judgments, the SEC has filed its motion only against Musk.
2/ The SEC has until the end of the day tomorrow to file a reply brief. This follows the typical cadence of motion, response, reply. Sometimes a non-moving party will ask for a "sur-reply," but that's rare and disfavored.
3/ There's no hearing tomorrow. Just the electronic filing a brief that will likely be 10-15 pages or so. Then the parties have another week (until March 26) to advise the Court whether they want an evidentiary hearing.

After 70 years of imperial/neoliberal indoctrination the web of lies is so obviously absurde (9/11, Skripal, WH = ISIS, etc.), that it is dissoluting. The empathetic humanity connects, closes ranks and sends their eternal psychopathic rulers and their lackeys into nowhere land.
The "evil empire" is a lifelong three year old child. I certainly loved my children at that age too, however only because they created not only a surreal mess, but also made steady progress.

A great documentary about psychopathy and society:
The elite invented "democracy" to protect them from the empathetic people. The media are their means for misleading the people sedated by "democracy". This is definitely a bad thing since the people have become educated and the elite almost totally insane.
