Here are all the details on Uber Black's new Rider Preferences that let you:
-Select "Quiet preferred" or "Happy To Chat"
-Signal if you have bags so drivers know to help
-Ask temperature be hotter or colder

The big ethical question is whether it's dehumanizing to ask drivers to be quiet. Uber tells me "reaction of Uber Black drivers was overwhelmingly positive" because they want to give premium service 
Uber notes that drivers are independent contractors, so honoring "quiet ride" requests isn't mandatory...though riders could get bad ratings.
Some say it's rude to request a quiet ride, but many women report unwanted flirtation from Uber drivers. That's why I hope Uber rolls this out to UberX & internationally after it hits the US tomorrow. techcrunch.com/2019/05/14/ube…
