1) READ WHOLE THREAD FOR STORY! I have gone back and forth about posting this video for several reasons. This is extremely difficult for me to share because it is intensely raw and personal. Matt cannot even bring himself to watch or listen to it.

2) This is my reaction right after Matt called me from post when he received the charge of premeditated murder from LTC Todd Sunday.

When we received the call in November that Matt was being recalled to Bragg, we had no idea what to expect.

3) For over two weeks, we wondered what was about to happen, and we left with Henry on 9 DEC 2018 so that Matt could report on 10 DEC. Adding to our stress, we ran into a big snowstorm and had to stop for the night.

4) Matt reported on 10 DEC, and we were told that ‘no decision had been made’, but that we could expect one that week. Matt reported to LTC Sunday each day, and this occurred on Thursday 13 DEC.

5) When the charge was handed down, we had been in living in a hotel for four days with our newborn speculating about what our future held.

6) I recorded this because I knew it would be important to remind myself of how far we’ve come. And we have made such progress. We have shown this case to be exactly what it is: a vindictive retaliation for some and a career opportunity for others.

7) t’s not over yet, and we continue to fight.
And when it’s ‘over’ for us, it’s not over. We will continue to advocate for others.

I apologize in advance for my appearance. ‘Ugly cry’ doesn’t even begin to cover it.
